David Christiensen is an Omaha attorney at the Nebraska law offices of Marks Clare & Richards LLC. Sworn into service in 1990, Attorney Christiensen has more than a quarter century of experience.
Attorney Christiensen enjoys meeting people from all walks of life, and feels refreshed by the multitude of legal issues which come through his office. He is driven by the deep need to help others. He channels this drive into a sharp focus on his clients’ legal issues with an aim to reach satisfactory resolutions of same.
This Omaha, Nebraska lawyer grew up in South Dakota on a family farm. He attended South Dakota State University where he graduated in 1968 with a B.S. Degree in agriculture. While there, he was part of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. Upon graduation from South Dakota State University he was also commissioned in the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant. After serving 21 years in the Air Force, David retired in 1989 with rank of Major. While in the Air Force he obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Midwestern State University in 1973. Simultaneously with retiring from the military, he graduated from Creighton Law School with a Juris Doctor Degree.
David feels most in his element when collaborating with others, most particularly his clients. Regardless of his demanding attorney schedule, he remains accessible and willing to work closely with his clients. This is an Omaha lawyer who takes the time to listen to his clients, understand their concerns, and craft a legal action plan which takes their feelings and objectives into consideration.
David is proud to be known as a pleasant person, given the too often stereotyped “hardened lawyer” the general public has through copious television and cinema portrayals of the legal system. He is often complimented and thanked by his clients for making them feel comfortable. He does not simply work for them, he works with them, making them a partner in their legal process.
Prior to being an attorney in Omaha, Davis Christiensen was a career officer in the US Air Force for 21 years. Wanting to become an attorney, but too busy in his civic duties, David was finally able to attend law school during his last four years of military service.
This Omaha attorney draws strength and inspiration from anyone and everyone around him. David is drawn to those with great moral character and who posses a great work ethic. He is especially fond of “those who treat people with respect and fairness.”
Aside of the courtrooms and negotiation tables, David Christiensen can be found spending time with his family (especially his 11 grandchildren). He is a church-going family man, who seeks to travel and play a round of golf on the rare occasion his busy professional and personal schedule allow.
